Uniquely Handcrafted Design For Fast Assembly

- Kits: Ideal For Easy Assembly -

– Kits: Ideal For Fast Assembly –

  • Reduce construction waste and conserve energy.

  • Every bale is trimmed up and resembles more of a square block to reduce voids where two or more bales come together.  It makes the walls plumb and straight, which means less stucco material on the wall and lower costs. Excess material from the pre-cut bales and lumber are recycled by us to reduce construction waste disposal costs for the buyer.

  • We have developed this totally new way of integrating straw bales with structural vertical posts and a horizontal beam encased behind a 1 ½” stucco system. We specialize in handcrafted truth windows and niches carved in the straw bale walls.

We can customize any of our home kits to your specifications as well as add unique finishing touches.

Perfect Products For Your Residential or Commercial Project

RESIDENTIAL PRODUCTS

Thinking about building a new home? Whether it is because of an instinct within us or as a necessity to house our family, a new venture in life (like building a home!) can be exciting.

With so many decisions to make, it can also be very overwhelming. Wouldn’t it be nice to order a new building and have it delivered right to your property all ready for assembly? Well, you can, of course, with manufacturers selling many types of pre-built kits such as timber frame, SIP panelized houses, log homes, yurts, and dome homes.

But now you have a new “Green” choice that has a superior R-45 insulation value. Strawbale homes are energy efficient, cozy and built with a renewable resource. We provide a strawbale constructed kit where the technical details have already been worked out, making it easier for a home owner or a contractor to build a strawbale home, whether it is a weekend retreat cabin or a million dollar trophy home. Our Strawbale Kit prices range from $28 to $45 sq. ft. for the shell of the building.

COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS

The steel web truss construction is a good choice for large barns, huge outbuildings and commercial buildings that need a wide span.

This steel truss system will use big bales (8’x3’x3′). These large bales have the same advantages as a standard 2 string bale (38″x20″x14″), such as being a renewable resource, and providing sound proofing (aka: noise control), durability, recyclability and longevity. The large 8’x3’x3′ big bales provide an R-60+ insulation rating, excellent thermal mass and allow for fast construction time (1/2 day when using a tractor to set the bales in place!). Stacking the large bales with a tractor can easily reduce the construction time by days or even weeks as compared to stacking hundreds of the smaller bales by hand.

IDEAL FOR TIMBER FRAME OR LOG POST & BEAM

Now you can have your beautiful exposed Post and Beam look combined with an organic straw bale wall!

  • This straw bale wall system is ideal for Timber Frame or Log Post & Beam Contractors.

  • Rather than using SIP Panels, log siding, or spray foam insulation in a stick built wall, you can give your clients a Green Building option.

  • Once your timber or log post and beam frame is up, our SBC pre-built wall system can be installed.

  • It is anchored right to your existing Post & Beam framing system.

The property owner will be responsible for obtaining all required building permits and for verifying that the structure that is intended to be built is allowed and that all building and zoning codes will be met.Masking and caulking is a very important detail where the Plaster meets the timber done right makes for a straight clean edge.

We can recommend a few timber frame companies we have worked with before. CONTACT US with your information and we will get you their information.

Our Packages Are Made To Handle Long Distance Delivery

SOME PEOPLE SAY OUR STRAWBALE POST AND BEAM SHELL KITS ARE OVER BUILT...

- We Delivery Throughout The U.S. -

– We Delivery Throughout The U.S. –

We did this because we need the building components to be durable enough to be moved around with a machine and to handle long distance travel.

Once a kit is ordered, most parts are pre-assembled, making sure all the bits and pieces are there, and then it is disassembled, packed onto trucks and shipped to buyers around the country.

Once delivered to the location, it is recommended that the components are arranged in a logical order for easier construction flow and in a safe place to store and protect them from weather and possible theft. The new owner will re-assemble the shell kit on their homesite promptly. Most hire local builders for assembly, but a person with extra hands and some knowledge of building can easily erect the shell for a water-tight building. Once the kit is up and ready, the new owner can complete the interior to meet their needs and tastes. Complete follow up service after delivery is guaranteed.

  • Architectural Design (This may not always be needed, but some cities, subdivisions, HOAs, etc may require them BEFORE they will approve your plans.)

  • Foundation Design (This is specific to your property. An engineer from your area may be required to be sure to meet your specific property’s needs and local regulations. For example, soil composition, wetlands issues, slope stability, frost line depths, etc. can all have an affect on the design of your foundation.)
